Optimization of surface treatment of stainless steels

The project deals with the processes of degreasing industry and testing new laser cleaning process, which has been experimentally verified and tested in the production process. Project also deals with soldering in general as a technology of joining metals. Included are the main components of the soldering, such as solder, flux, the types of connections and their use, ways of soldering and last but not least the soldering corrosion-resistant steel.
Optimisation of a die casting part production.

The project aim is an optimalization of production of pressure die casting, which serves as a one part of handle in office furniture area. The main emphasis was for mass finishing operation, which serves for rounding of very sharp part edges after die casting operation. A few tests of single mass finishing parameter was carried out and as result was a few partial recommendations for an increasing of production efficiency and improving of manufacturing process, namely an adjustment of separation cycle, proposal of optimum amount of pieces in each single batch and an innovation of chips type and dimensions. The project includes a proposal of a new and more efficiency layout of pieces on the transport pallet.

This master thesis is especially focused on identification of areas which are convenient to use prevention tools leading to reduce the negative impact on environment caused by technology of metal surface finishing. This issue is dealt in company called ZETOR TRACTORS a.s. In another part of this thesis, there are suggested variants solving problems in the identified areas. These variants are analysed and then one of them is chosen and recommended to application in this company. For this thesis principles of Cleaner Production Technique are used. In the end there are noticed the first experiences with the suggested prevention provision in practice. In the Literary review, there are described Czech legal requirements of emplacement and operation of technologies of metal surface finishing in terms of environmental protection.

Design and construction of automatic galvanic line

This thesis deals with the design of automated system of electroplating. The first part is centered on designing the technological process for this electroplating and the setout of operating vats. It also deals with the project of mechanical construction, electrical system, with the computing procedure and the optimum choice of gear for galvanic line model. The work includes the design of a DC motor controller, the computing procedure and the construction of heating element for vats heater simulation. The last part of this thesis offers an insight to the control system and the assembled program. In the addendum, the photo of the realized model, the wiring scheme, and the programme transcript for control galvanic line model can be found.

Manuál vychází z jednoduchého blokového schématu projektu čistší produkce a prezentuje obvykle používané metody a postupy pro naplnění jednotlivých kroků. Jako zdroj externích informací pro projekt prevence je uvedena databáze preventivních opatření, jejíž základ pro textilní a papírenský průmysl, povrchové úpravy kovů a nakládání s autovraky se vytváří v rámci studie pro MŽP. Jeho pracovní verze je dostupná v elektronické podobě na www.cpc.cz. Manuál vychází z jednoduchého blokového schématu a projektu čistší produkce a prezentuje obvykle používané metodiky a postupy pro naplnění jednotlivých kroků: Krok I. Stanovení cíle a strategie projektu. Krok II. Vazba na environmentální politiku a plán odpadového hospodářství. Krok III. Rozhodnutí o dalším kroku podle postupu při stanovení cíle a strategie projektu. Krok IV. Vstup externích informací. Krok V.
